This is an archive for the mementoweb.org web site. It is created using transactional archiving. As a result it content includes:

An archived copy of every resource that was served by mementoweb.org to a requesting client, e.g. browser, since archiving began in May 2011.

Memento Protocol Information

The archive is accessible via the Memento "Time Travel for the Web" protocol. Hence, it supports datetime negotiation to access a version of resource as it existed at a specific moment in time. Check out the brief introduction to Memento if you are not familiar with it.

Presuming the Original Resource (current version) is http://mementoweb.org/demo/, then the resources that are relevant for the Memento protocol are:

Integration with the Original Dataset

mementoweb.org provides the appropriate links to its Transactional Archive. In HTTP responses to requests for e.g. http://mementoweb.org/demo/, the Link header will contain a link with a "timegate" relation type that points to the appropriate TimeGate.
