| MediaWiki systems can be made Memento compliant by installing
the Memento MediaWiki plugin. With the plugin installed,
the set of all versions of all wiki articles constitute a Memento compliant archive.

Memento Protocol Information |
With the the Memento MediaWiki plugin installed,
a MediaWiki system is accessible via the
Memento "Time Travel for the Web" protocol. Hence, it supports datetime negotiation
to access a version of a web resource as it existed at a specific moment in time. Check out the brief introduction to Memento if you are not familiar with it.
Let's take the DCMI wiki at http://wiki.dublincore.org as an example.
Presuming the Original Resource (current version) is http://http://wiki.dublincore.org/index.php/User_Guide,
then the resources that are relevant for the Memento protocol are:

With the Memento MediaWiki plugin installed,
responses to HTTP requests for the "generic" URI of an article (e.g. , http://http://wiki.dublincore.org/index.php/User_Guide)
will contain a
Link header with a "timegate" link that points at
the TimeGate for the article.
